The Armchair
Theologian
Book Series

Ron Hill is the illustrator of The Armchair Theologian Series published by Westminster John Knox Press. Each volume has 80 black and white, editorial cartoon-style illustrations that highlight and illuminate key theological concepts and biographies of Christian theologians and periods in Christian thought. There are eleven books so far; with four more in the writing: Paul Tillich, John Knox, Medieval Mystics and Dorthy Day. Future plans include the Niebuhr Brothers, Sigmund Freud and Soren Kierkegaard.The Armchair books have been translated into German and Japanese. In 2010, there should be more translations available in Korean and Italian.
