Year of the Tiger Sculpture
Designed by Ron and Margie and painted mostly by Margie,
look for this tribute to the Cleveland Metroparks on the
mean streets of Cleveland's concrete jungle later this summer. Produced for the St Clair Superior Development Corporation's Year of the Tiger public art expo, our sculpture, titled "Emerald Tiger", will be one of 20 sculptures. "Emerald Tiger" was sponsored by Ozanne Construction.
Proposal
These two layouts were submitted in early January 2010.
The Super Tiger was approved but did not get selected by a sponsor.
Margie's concept featuring flora and fauna of the
Cleveland MetroParks was selected to be produced.
Painting
Painting in progress. Mostly completed by Margie the last week of March.
Party
The sculptures were unveiled at a reception on May 18, 2010.
